SingAMaJigs!

Sing-A-Ma-Jigs were introduced at the New York Toy Fair 2010 in the Javits Convention Center, February 14-17, 2010.

They are basically little teddy bear style dolls in bright, primary colors with retro-70’s style T-shirts. Squeeze their bellies and their mouth opens, showing cute little teeth inside, but more importantly, they sing!

Individually, they belt out random notes in some bizarre form of musical speech, but if you get more than one to vocalize at once, they seem to auto-tune and sing together in harmony.

Squeeze their left paw and they change singing modes from chatter to single notes or preset songs.  Although they hold their hands in the air with a look of shock and surrender, they look a bit surprised at their own ability.

Different Sing-A-Ma-Jigs have different vocal ranges, from alto to baritone.

They sell for $12.99 each, for hours of parental ear-plugging and daydreaming of feeding it to the dog.

Sing-a-ma-jigs are the new free-spirited, off-beat plush characters that love nothing better than to sing together. With each squeeze of their tummies, they offer up a little bit of chatter and then individual notes to a song. But the real magic happens when kids put the characters all together and squeeze their tummies one more time and the Sing-a-ma-jigs erupt into a harmonic chorus like none heard before!
